Be it an all day hike in the mountains or surrounding hills, or a stroll around the villages and olive groves, there are plenty of different itineraries to suit from the hardened fell walker or a family stroll.
There is an abundance of signposted and marked paths along the valley and we can provide direction’s and maps for the more elusive trail.
Walking is a very good way of seeing the local countryside and wildlife as well as the local villages which can be an epic itself with their passageways and narrow streets. The region is also the biggest producer of olive oil. There are plenty of beautiful walks amongst the groves and there is an olive museum in Imperia you can visit or many stores where you can try the olive oil and buy a few litres to take home with you.. Or you can simply stroll along the beach!
If you love ancient architecture then here you will come across one virtually around every corner, from roman single arch bridges to the many little churches, the average village has about four!
For the more adventurous, we can drop off you off at a point in the mountains where you can really stretch those calf muscles with a fully detailed map. When you eventually arrive back at the village you can relax those muscles at one of the local bars.
